Meet the finalists of our Women Entrepreneurs Award 2025!

Meet our finalists

In partnership with Impact Hub Network, we launched a global search to find women entrepreneurs driving sustainable innovation in health and food security. Today, we can announce the 30 finalists from our award regions Africa and the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, who are shaping the future of these critical sectors.

The need for innovative solutions is undeniable. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 4.5 billion people—more than half of the global population—lack access to essential health services, and 733 million people remain undernourished. These challenges demand bold, collective action to address the critical issues of health and food security.

Women entrepreneurs are uniquely positioned to lead the way. With their innovative ideas, diverse perspectives, and deep commitment to social impact, they are transforming communities and creating scalable solutions that make a real difference.

Our Women Entrepreneurs Award recognizes and supports these exceptional women, showcasing how their efforts are reshaping the future of health and food security worldwide. Let’s meet the remarkable women and their enterprises:

What's Next?

In the last week of April, we’ll announce the 15 winners who will embark on a transformative journey to amplify their impact and scale their ventures. Each winner will receive a €25,000 cash prize to expand operations and deepen community engagement.

Over six months, they will participate in an Accelerator Programme designed to refine their business models, explore new market opportunities, and tackle key growth challenges. With personalised mentorship from industry leaders, they’ll gain the insights and support needed to unlock their full potential.

As part of the Bayer Foundation and Impact Hub ecosystems, participants will connect with a global network of innovators, fostering collaborations that drive meaningful change. Their journey will culminate in a sponsored trip to Istanbul for the award ceremony during the Global Sustainable Development Congress, taking place from 16–19 June, where they will celebrate their achievements and the impact they’ve created.

This programme equips changemakers with the tools, networks, and inspiration to build a more sustainable and impactful future.
