We are once again supporting schools across Germany in inspiring young people to engage with science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and sustainability. Through our Science@School funding program, 44 schools will receive a total of €260,000 to implement hands-on, inclusive, and innovative learning projects. This year, the program reached a new milestone with 136 applications, representing an increase of around 40 percent compared to 2025. Every second application came from a school applying to Science@School for the first time, highlighting the growing interest in bringing practical STEM education to classrooms across the country.
