Bayer Foundation Report 2024: Building Impact for Our Future

A growing global population facing the constraints of planetary boundaries calls for scientific breakthroughs and social impact initiatives at the intersection of health, food security, and environment. Bold and innovative minds are at the heart of these efforts as they lay the base for societal progress. At Bayer Foundation, our mission is to support these visionaries by providing the resources, networks and opportunities they need to thrive, while dismantling barriers to equal access and opportunities in science and social innovation.

From celebrating groundbreaking scientific research to connecting and empowering social entrepreneurs, our Foundation Report 2024 highlights the meaningful impact we have achieved together with our wide array of partners over the past two years. The report covers inspiring stories and examples of people and organizations who build impact for our future. Here are some of the highlights:

These initiatives have reached 2.2 million people across 57 countries. Over 230 individuals have been awarded with fellowships and awards, with more than 50% of recipients being women.

The Climate and Health Lighthouse Fund

Bayer Foundation and AVPN have collaborated to launch the Climate and Health Lighthouse Fund. The fund, which aims to raise USD 5 million to support innovative solutions, is the first of its kind in Asia. It will unite funders and partners to address health and climate issues, acting as a catalyst for ecosystem development and larger funding opportunities.
